So beautiful and serene!

House in a neat atmosphere. A rich breakfast, an excellent menu and many fine, homemade cakes ensure your physical well-being. The service is exemplary. And all this despite the corona-related distance and mask requirement. We can absolutely recommend the hotel.

A very nice hotel with a view of the Lautersee, the Karwendel Mountains and the Wetterstein Mountains. The restaurant offers delicious meals made with local products and the service is very good. Gladly again!

Hiked from Grünberg to Mittenwald, we took a short coffee / lunch break. The cake (poppy seed cheese cake) and beer (wheat beer from the Hopf company) were average. Meatball soup was mistakenly delivered at over liver dumpling soup.

Great service. The guy did really well. But the portion sizes were really measly. The goulash was delicious, but I was still hungry afterwards

We have heard a lot about Bavarian hospitality. It's a myth! Rudeness and insult, we saw that on the lake. We got kicked out if we were showing off in a car with a disabled child. There were about 10 cars in the parking lot at the inn, but we weren't even allowed to park for an hour. I asked about a permit but didn't get a clear answer. My child cannot walk, but the guest house staff recommended parking in Mittenwald, which is about 40 minutes away on foot and still laughed when I asked how I can bring my 8 year old child there with a wheelchair! Angry, indecent people! We drove almost two hours to the lake! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Because there was no place for lunch at Ferchensee, we were served quickly and well at Lautersee

Delicious cake and a very place to rest

We sat well. The view is great. The service was okay too, but the food wasn't great. Have ordered meat loaf with fried potatoes. Nothing green about it, no sweet mustard (so everything was very dry) and the side dish was too little for my taste. Also be careful with the beer. 0.3l cost € 3.60 - 0.5l cost € 3.80.

We stayed at the JUli for a few days in the hotel. For us it was feeling good and pure nature. The hotelier, the staff were helpful, very friendly. The room with a unique, exceptional view of the great lake. Perhaps you should consider equipping the carpeting with wooden floorboards from the region. Good food in the restaurant, very nice service. In the morning, when changing staff, it was sometimes "somewhat unsafe" - but does not weaken the overall result at all. We will be back and hope for a free room! Thank you for very nice relaxing days. With the priceless highlight: Swimming in the lake almost alone in the morning and evening.

After a swim in the Lautersee you can relax and stop there. Very nice service, good range of fresh trout to giant yoghurt cake.

Sunset supreme🤩

After a nice hike from Mittenwald you can reach the beautiful Lautersee relatively quickly. And then you can really enjoy yourself here! Sit in the sun on the great terrace of the hotel directly by the lake, let yourself be pampered with delicious food and drinks by the very friendly service: just great !! Always my pleasure!

The terrace is a great place right on the lake and lots of sun. Service was very friendly and entertaining. However, part of the order was forgotten and the quality of the food is below average, more like a tourist trap I would say. Cakes from the freezer and the sausage salad were the worst I've had in a long time. I cannot rate the hotel, only the restaurant.

We stayed here in October 2019 in great weather. The view of the lake and the surrounding mountains is breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed the stay on the cozy terrace with friendly service and delicious food. The Lautersee is beautiful and offers peace and deceleration pure. In the summer he is great for swimming. We really liked it and will definitely be back soon. P.S. Be sure to check out the nearby chapel as it is a little gem!

Great hotel and restaurant right on the lake. Delicious food very friendly and courteous service not too expensive. You can easily reach it from Mittenwald by bus and you have a great view just to enjoy.

Very friendly service, always consistent, very good food, the trout always fresh and for me the best trout in the area. Definitely try the homemade cakes and tarts, as it really pays to forget about figure and calories. And the landscape is so beautiful, you can really switch off and recharge your batteries for everyday life.

Peaceful place the whole surrounds are great to visit by hiking or bicycling

One of the hidden idyllic places that are too beautiful to be true. Many small hikes 30 min. to 2hs lead to the lake.

Was there with my husband yesterday, while walking in the surroundings. Decided to have some beer, and figured out that we have cash for beer only. Then in the restaurant asked the waiter if they accept cards and he confirmed, so we stayed for lunch as well. When it came up to payment it turned out that they do not accept cards and the waiter just does not speak english and that is why did not understand the question. As a result my husband had to rush to Mittenwald, which is 40 minutes away of walking distance. The day was totally ruined. And the bill was only 20 euro!
